ReplyDeleteI think embezzle means to appropriate fraudulently to one's own use, as money or property entrusted to one's care. I think writhing means to twist the body about, or squirm, as in pain. I would feel not happy, because I have adapted to where I live right now. I also like my friends.

Embezzle means the fraudulently appropreation of funds or property intrusted to your care but actually owned by someone else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Embezzle: To steal money secretly from the organization that you work for.

If I were in Gil's situation, I'd feel happy to move. From MY point of view I would be dissapointed.
To take money or property by fraud is embezzle.
